GASTRONIMIC EXPERINCE & BARS in Val-David
There are many gourmet boutiques, good restaurants and bars in Val-David. We specially recommend these below. If a place does not figure on this list and you feel adventurous, go try them and give us some feedback so we can add it.
Le Rusé Renard ... with terrace! This is a place we aven't tried yet, but looks interesting. Check their website.
Le Petit Poucet ... A Val-David classic! Home made Quebec cuisine is the specialty where maple smoked ham is the star. "Tourtière", meatball stew and "pattes de porc", creton, Ham beans, pea soup, ear crunches, Maple taffy , maple sirop pie, etc. Le tout, dans une décor rustique et très chaleureux.
Général Café ... Val-David's headquarters where villagers and visitors come together for delicious coffee and tea or to get a tasty breakfast or eat a healthy lunch. On the menu, a reinvented home style cuisine based on fresh, local and biological ingredients.
Bistro Mouton Noir … with terrace! 2301, rue de L’Église. With a bar offering many original drinks, savory dishes, its terrace bordering the river. Le Mouton Noir is a warm inviting bistro. Drink a latté by the fire place or watch an intimate show, this institution-in-the-making makes for a great get together!
Le Baril Roulant artisanal brewery … with terrace! 2434, de l’Église. Val-David's festive gourmet microbrewery. Very nice place for happy hour !
L'Épicurieux ... with riverside terrace! Pour célébrer le bon boire et le bien-manger. Seasonal cuisine de saison. 2270, rue de l'Église à Val-David.

Station Val David... With its home made fries Station Val David makes the best poutine in the region. Add the great hambergers and you end up with the best snack bar in town. 1324, Route 117.

Boucherie Val-David ... 1365, route 117. Frash meat (product of Quebec) If you like great cuts of the freshest meats! The best butcher in Val-David for beef, veal, lamb, Horse meat, bison et wild boar. Specialty: sausages and smoked meat. Check the opening hours
Marché d’été de Val-David ... Farmer's market every Saturdays from June to October, 9 am to 1 pm. Downtown Val-David, you can't miss it! By produce directly from the producer. More than 50 stalls. Many bio certified products.

Tyrolienne (Mega-zip-lines) Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts (10 min.) (reservation recommanded) – This activity is highly recommanded !
