Magnificent unique architectural home designed and built by the sculptor Robert Lachance. This vast and beautiful chalet can accommodate up to 10 people (Rate according to number of persons). The house has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms; 3 with shower and one with a bath. The modern kitchen, the large dinning-room and the living-room are all combined in one giant open area on the ground floor. The floor below houses a large living room with a pool table and a sofa-bed, There is a 46'' and a 38'' Smart HD TV in the living-rooms. A large balcony-terrace is home to the BBQ. Security gates for children have been installed in the stairway.

The cottage is located in a 3 acres estate atop the highest mountain in Val-David. Bordering the Val-David/Val-Morin Regional Park with its 1 900 acres of Crown land, you have access to the Park trails directly from the street of the chalet. Daily tickets and information are available on https://www.parcregional.com/. You can choose between hiking, mountain bike and fatbike riding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, Telemark, Splitboarding and even mountain climbing. We have 4 pairs of adult snowshoes and 2 child at you disposal. We have few of adult snowshoes at you disposal that we lend you free of charge with the purchase of passes.

Regardless of the weather, you'll enjoy the private, year-round outdoor spa and the heated swimming pool (heated when 10 degrees minimum at night and 20 degrees during the day). If you want, you can go for a swim at the Lac Raymond's beach (10 min.) or at the Lac des Sables's beach (15min.) The village of Val-David with all amenities is 5 minutes by car.

P.S .: Keep in mind that we are looking for a MATURE, DISCREET and RESPECTFUL clientele. As a result and following too many bad experiences, we no longer rent to groups whose average adult age is under 28 or to people who want to party without worrying about noise for neighbors because as we are in the mountains and in a peaceful environment, the sound carries a lot and nighttime noises can annoy them, so PARTYS ARE FORBIDDEN. "Our weekend was fantastic. The chalet (house) La Romane was a success for my family. We were charmed by everything. The fire in the evening welcomed us with its warmth and we even sang around the fire. Everyone, young and old alike loved the heated swimming pool. We must not forget the Hot Tub. Great! The mountains welcomed us all around us. To go to the restaurant, I recommend Le Boucanier. We were at home with a beautiful atmosphere .

I will recommend you 100%.

Complete beddings, shower towels and fire wood are provided by the owner.

The kitchen is well equipped, you will find, amongst other things, an espresso machine, a coffee grinder, a food processor, a dishwasher and a gel fondue kit as well as usual kitchen equipment.

Generally, some basic elements are there such as: sugar, salt, pepper, a spice rack with about 20 spices, vegetable oil, coffee filters, dish washing liquid, paper towels, cellophane, aluminum foil, etc.

There is a 46’’ Smart HD TV with a blutotth soundbar and CD/DVD players on the main floor and a 46’’ Smart HD TV in the pool room . Cable and internet services provided by Bell Fibe.

There are lots of toys for children 2 to 6 years old and board games. A booster seat, and a playpen are at your disposal. Security gates for children have been installed in the stairway. We have 4 pairs of adult snowshoes and 2 child at you disposal with the purchase of passes.

There is a gas BBQ grill, a dishwasher, a washer and dryer set and a few hair dryers.

Heated swimming pool in summer ans the spa is opened year round!
